ACCREDITATION

Our American College Program is co-developed with Broward College (which has full SACS-COC accreditation)

As the higher education accreditation body of the southern U.S., SACS-COC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-Commission on Colleges) represents the highest form of recognition for program excellence in the U.S. The first two years of study in Sampoerna University can lead to academic credit from Broward College that is recognized globally. Our engineering program is jointly offered with Louisiana State University (which has ABET accreditation)

ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) is the recognized gold standard in engineering education. Degrees from the ABET-accredited schools are required to obtain license to be a professional engineer in the United States, Canada and many other parts of the world. At Sampoerna University, degrees offered in engineering are jointly awarded with the Lousiana State University, meaning a student will get a Louisiana State University degree with SACS and ABET accredication as well as a Sampoerna University degree upon successfully completing the program. Our business program, is jointly offered with Oregon State University (which has full AACSB and NWCCU accreditation)

In addition to being fully accredited by NWCCU (Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities), the College of Business at Oregon State University is also accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) – the recognized gold standard for business education globally. At Sampoerna University, degrees offered in business are jointly awarded by Oregon State University, meaning a student will get an Oregon State University degree as well as a Sampoerna University degree upon successfully completing the program. Our American College Program curriculum is built on an American General Education core, and it has been co-developed with Broward College, in Florida, the United States. In effect, the credits you earn can be directly applied to a degree in engineering at the Louisiana State University, or a degree in business at the Oregon State University, or you can opt to transfer the credits to the best degrees at some of the most prestigious U.S. universities.
